WWF WrestleMania Challenge (NES)

WWF WrestleMania Challenge is the second WWF game for the NES and a follow up the the previous years WWF WrestleMania. It was developed by Rare and released by LJN in 1990.

The game features nine wrestlers, up from the previous entry's six: The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Macho King Randy Savage, André the Giant, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The Big Boss Man, Ravishing Rick Rude, Brutus The Barber Beefcake, and a generic new comer the player plays. Each character has a slightly different move set.

Game modes include one on one matches, tag team matches, a 3 on 3 survivor elimation mode, and the championship mode. 

In the championship mode the player controls a generic new comer who must fight his way through 8 fights in order to win the WWF Championship. 

The championship mode can be played by 2 players, both controlling a generic character and fighting tag team matches instead of one on one matches.

The objective of the game is to decrease the opposing player's stamina bar so that they can be pinned. 

WWF WrestleMania Challenge is followed up by two additional WWF games for the NES: WWF WrestleMania: Steel Cage Challenge, and WWF King of the Ring.
