Karate Kid; The (NES)

The Karate Kid video game was released by LJN and developed by Atlus. The game is known for its frustrating gameplay.

The Karate Kid contains four stages. The first is a one on one tournament style level that represents the ending of the first movie. The following stages are set in Okinawa during The Karate Kid 2.

In the game Daniel is able to perform several moves as well as jump. There are a series of mini-games based on scenes in the movies that can be found in the later stages. The mini-games include: catching flies with chopsticks, breaking ice, and dodging the swinging pendulum.
