Adventures of Lolo 3 (NES)

Adventures of Lolo 3 is the third and final chapter in the Adventures of Lolo series. This sequel was released in 1991 by HAL Corporation for the Nintendo Entertainment System. While this third installment to the series is also a puzzle game like it's two predecessors, Adventures of Lolo 3 employs some new additions to its gameplay. First, the player has the option to select between playing as Lolo or Lala. Neither character has any advantage over the other, though. 
The game adds a map screen which the player can move around on in order to select the next set of levels to play.
A new monster appears in this game called a moby. Mobies only appear in the underwater levels and use a line of sight attack to suck the main character towards them. Though this attack can not directly kill the player, it can cause Lolo or Lala to get stuck and force the player to restart the room.
Another new feature of this game is interactive scenery in the form of crumbling bridges. These structures can only be crossed twice before they fall apart.
The select button also has a new purpose: when the player presses select to give up, they don't die anymore. in this game, 'giving up' causes the level to restart instead.
The start button returns the player to the overworld map. Pressing start a second time will display the password to let the player resume the game at their most recent checkpoint at a later time.
On top of these other additions and changes to the previous games' setup, Adventures of Lolo 3 also features a total of 17 levels with 100 different puzzle rooms, 9 boss rooms, and 10 training rooms, offering more challenges for the player, and making this final installment to the Adventures of Lolo series a definite improvement over it's predecessor.
